Summary
ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and refers to a set of criteria used to evaluate the sustainability and societal impact of a company. This BARC study examines the major hurdles on the road to smooth and trusted ESG reporting and how leading organizations tackle these challenges, their motivation, approaches and the tools they use to ensure the flow of trusted data.
This study explores the following questions
- – Who is driving ESG reporting in companies?
- – What are the biggest challenges companies encounter in running ESG reporting today?
- – What are companies using/planning to use as their main tool for publishing ESG reports?
Sample and related content
The study is based on a worldwide online survey of 283 companies, conducted from November 2022 to January 2023.
